Sundance Film Festival

We were excited to get to go up to the festival in Park City this weekend, since we haven't gone up together for a couple years.
After getting pulled over on the way up and delaying us even more than we already were, we got to Eccles to stand in the waitlist line to see 'Be Kind Rewind' with Jack Black, Danny Glover, Mos Def, and Mia Farrow.
If you don't already have a ticket, basically you have to get to the movie you want to see about 3 hours early and stand in a line to get a number. Then come back half hour before the movie starts to stand in another line so if people that have tickets don't show up they sell tickets to the people that have the waitlist numbers.
We were almost at the end of the line when they started handing out numbers. With only 200 numbers to hand out we knew it was a pretty slim chance we were getting one. We ended up being about 25 people away, But they told us if we stayed in the line we would definitely get into the next movie, which started hrs. later. We stood there debating what to do as all the other people in front of us left. I was at the front of the line and Jesse went in to grab us something to eat and as he came back a guy offered to let us buy his tickets!
After the movie, we went up to Main Street for dinner and then came back to Eccles just in time to sneak into the 'Smart People' Q & A with Sarah Jessica Parker, Dennis Quaid, Thomas Haden Church(sandman from Spider-man), and Pam's ex fiance from the office.
We're hoping next year we'll be going up for the premier of Jesse's movie!
