The kids liked it but I think our drama in the theater( fire alarm went off 15 min. into the movie, everyone evacuated the complex, firefighters put out"small" fire in the kitchen, let everyone back into movie) was more memorable than the movie..sorry

yeah, we weren't too excited about the movie either. I almost fell asleep inthe middle of it!
Uh oh...
We're going to see it tomorrow night. I've been excited all week. We don't go to movies very often (usually wait and Netflix everything) but we decided Indiana Jones would be cooler in the theater.
I'll make sure I take a nap before I go. =o) I hope I like it!
We liked it! I wouldn't say it was my favorite movie, but it was fun. I'm not a big fan of alien plots, but it was done pretty tactfully - whatever that means. It's probably good that you set my expectations so low, so it was actually better than I expected. =o)
I'm married to a screenplay writer so I knew the whole backstory about it going thru 10 years of re-writes and that the story had to be signed off by Lucas and Spielburg.
So I guess I went into it with a higher expectation. I would think they could have come up with a better plot about treasure hunting and a better ending than one that even left my kids bewildered(russian lady disappearing because she was "enlightened"? and then the spaceship just flies away?-maybe I missed something)
Anyways-I'm glad I lowered your expectations so you had an enjoyable time!
