Grateful

Still not used to faithfully updating our blog but I promise I'll get the hang of it. I had a great Mother's Day. On Sat. we went to Thanksgiving Point gardens to see the tulips. We had so much fun and it was so beautiful. It has to be one of my most favorite places!

On Sun. Jesse made a gourmet breakfast, we lazed around, and then went to my mom's for dinner. I got a new sewing machine earlier this week as part of my mother's day present and I've been sewing like a crazy woman!

I am so lucky to have such great kids that teach me more about love, life, silliness, and creativity than I could ever teach them. I am grateful for my sweet angel Avery, at this point in my journey I can look back and be thankful for the lessons I've learned and the relationships it mended.
I am grateful to my mom for the example she has been and the support she has given to me and my family. I feel lucky to have gotten her creative gene and the desire to create beautiful things. I have so many amazing women in my life that I look up to and learn from. . Marilyn, Grandma T, Grandma H, Julie, Janna..so many others. Happy belated Mother's Day!

What a great post. I love the pink quilt. Who was that for? I love mine and will be using it in just a few days. I would say that you have no idea how much it means to me, but I think you might have an idea. :) I love you to pieces and consider you one of the amazing women in my life! (This is your Thank you note!) ;)
